First Channel: Sime~Gen, Book Three ReviewI've loved these books since they first came out and have been so disappointed when new ones were promised and then not published. My copies of the old ones are tattered and dilapidated from such frequent re-reading. I sincerely hope that these reprints will attract a new readership and generate new Sime-Gen novels. These books have characters to whom you'll become attached and are set in a unique post-apocalyptic future. But Kadi matures into a Gen, as one-third of the human children do, randomly; and suddenly is considered no more than a food animal, a thing to be killed and harvested. The couple refuse to accept their fate, and flee to a strange hybrid community. There they set in motion the greatest social engineering experiment in human history. If it succeeds, Simes will finally be able to live peacefully in a symbiotic relationship with the Gens. But if it fails, all will be lost... Sime~Gen, Book Three.
