It is extremely well written by an expert in the field, however it is a bit dated and teaches how to channel set diamonds ( and other stones ) using hand gravers, and will take one several years to attain the skills needed. That being said, it is still a bargain and teaches considereable more skills and is very clearly illustrated. I would strongly recommend it for study and to keep as a reference library.
