Mackie Compact Mixers - Edition 2.1 ReviewAlthough the book focuses on specific Mackie models, I would recommend the book for mixer users in general. I have a Tascam mixer and the manual is not very thorough. The book covers in detail different configurations, the specific functions and setup information. I would give it a 5 stars if I actually had one of the models that the book covers. I went back to my Tascam manual and a lot of the info finally made sense.I've a newbie in the whole music scene and I've been looking for a book like this for a while. It definetly did its job in covering the basics very well. The book is very organized, starting with explanations of specific mixer functions in detail, how to use this functions and different applications and configurations.
